About LaMASKA
Welcome to LaMASKA, the home of quality purebred Siamese, Oriental and Peterbald.
LaMASKA is located in the eastern suburbs of Pretoria, South Africa. We have successfully been breeding Oriental and Siamese since 1996, with a special interest in breeding exquisite torties, reds and creams. In 2010 we imported a stunning new Oriental boy from the Netherland to expand the our respective breeding programmes.
In 2006 LaMASKA became the home of a Peterbald breeding pair from Israel, with thanks to Steve Rekun, with the goal to develop this spectacular new breed in South Africa. In 2007 two more handsome Peterbald boys were imported from the USA, with thanks to Susanna Tally-Shon of PURRSIA, to further complement the South African genepool of this special new breed.
LaMASKA cats are shown at the Southern African Cat Council, the South African Cat Federation and the Cat Association of Southern Africa (WCF) and we encourage new owners to also show their LaMASKA kits. We find showing to be a valuable tool to determine whether our cats are bred true to the South African Standard of Points.

- To breed kittens from healthy parents who stem from healthy bloodlines.
- To breed Siamese, Oriental and Peterbald as close as possible to the Standard of Points set by theSouthern African Cat Council (SACC).
- To ensure that kittens produced are placed with responsible owners.
- To ensure that prospective owners are knowledgeable and well-informed about the specific needs of their chosen breed.
